Centrifugal Vs Cold Press – Which Juicer Machine Should You Choose?

Today, Canned juices bring in plenty of convenience for people who don’t have time, but the additives and artificial sweeteners used in them induce one to rethink their use.

Juicer is half of the battle won. However, before that, you have to understand the two chief kinds of juicer machines namely centrifugal and cold press versions.

The centrifugal Design is the oldest in the marketplace. It’s fitted with a central blade which rotates at high speed against a net room. The blade divides the fruit into tiny pieces, and the juice is filtered from the mesh and accumulated into a cask or jar through a port located on the side of the juicer.

The centrifugal juicer system is Great for juicing soft fruits and vegetables, but not so great for leafy greens like spinach and kale. Concerning price also, this juicer system is the lowest priced making them the most economical.

Cold Press juicer is also known as masticating juicers. It’s powered with a slower speed engine compared to the centrifugal version. They have single or double augers or gears which operate it. Unlike the other kind of juicer machine, cold press juicers mash the vegetables and fruits to extract the juice.

That’s healthier?

The Rotating activity in a centrifugal juicer creates heat. The heat oxidizes the enzymes and nutrients from the fruit or vegetable whenever it’s being juiced. This decreases the nutrient value of the juice substantially. So, it’s clear that juice made from the latter is fitter of the two. The other advantage of a cold press juicer is that it’s less noisy in its performance.

While It may seem that cold press juicers are your best option, you can still decide on a centrifugal juicer.

1. Juice affect your choice of a juicer system. Also, think of what you may use the juice for.

2. Second, consider operational sound. You do not want one that will produce a racket in your kitchen.

3. Third, there is the ease of maintenance. Detaching, cleaning and reassembling the parts ought to be an easy procedure.

4. Finally, consider if you’re able to add additional parts to the bottom juicer to elevate its functionality.
